Call for Club Assistance in Soliciting Sponsorships

We are asking EVERYONE to solicit two businesses for sponsorships again this year
There was not a great response to this request last year; please, please step up for your club and solicit this year
Rae/Laurie will get a solicitation letter out to the club by mid February, the eventbrite site published to include the sponsorship options, a tracking sheet published to ensure we aren’t all soliciting the same parties.

Return of the Silent Auction

We are bringing the silent auction piece back again this year since we are not competing with IC fundraising
Note: The biggest bang for the buck in terms of dollars is getting hole sponsors. So while we are asking you to focus on pushing the sponsor packages, silent auction items are also welcome and needed!!!!

About the tourney

We have heard that some club mates have been intimidated to come out for the tourney in the past, as they don’t consider themselves great golfers.
The tourney is a 4 person scramble, in which you can set up your own foursomes (find friends that don’t care about your golf skillz!), or we can put you into a foursome. Don’t let your skill level keep you away. The day is really about having fun, and raising some dollars for the club; not about serious golfing.
Will there be great golfers there? Yes
Will there be horrible golfers there? Yes —> Just ask BD who likes to slice his tee shot into the neighboring parking lot, or Rae who is really just there for the beer cart.
